Flowella
HubSpot forms as WhatsApp Flows
HubSpot’s own WhatsApp channel puts chats in the conversations inbox, on Marketing Hub or Service Hub Professional and Enterprise, with 1,000 template messages a month. Flowella turns your HubSpot forms into WhatsApp Flows and writes each completed one back as a form submission, on every HubSpot plan.

Ask three questions in a WhatsApp Flow and the answers land in HubSpot as properties, ready for a workflow. Ask the same three in a chat and you get messages someone has to read and retype. Try both and watch the record.

Answer in the Flow first, then try the chat.
Answer in the Flow first, then try the chat. The Flow caught that. Fix it and send again. Three answers, three clean properties. Now give the same answers in a chat. Each reply lands as a message, not a field. Same answers. Someone has to read these. Same answers. Only one set is ready to use.

HubSpot’s own channel is a good fit for many teams, and in places it does more than Flowella. Here’s who each one is.
Flowella turns HubSpot forms into WhatsApp Flows and writes each answer back to HubSpot. It’s from the team at Discover Digital, a HubSpot Platinum Partner.
HubSpot’s WhatsApp channel is part of HubSpot itself. It connects a WhatsApp Business account to the conversations inbox and help desk, so your team can chat, send templates and automate messages without another app.
Pick by the job you need done. Each WhatsApp number sits with one of them at a time, so teams that want both use two numbers.
Two jobs. Pick yours.
Five questions HubSpot teams put to us, answered for both.
Flowella
Yes. Connect the Flowella channel and WhatsApp threads land in the HubSpot conversations inbox, beside email, chat and calls. It needs Sales Hub or Service Hub, Professional or Enterprise, and HubSpot Credits may apply. The Flowella app inbox works on any plan.1718
HubSpot WhatsApp
Yes, it’s what the channel is built for. WhatsApp threads land in the conversations inbox or help desk, and your team can reply with images, documents, meeting links and quotes.1
Flowella
No. Flowella supports coexistence: keep the app for one-to-one chats while Flows and templates run on the same number.19
HubSpot WhatsApp
No. HubSpot supports coexistence too, and imports the last 180 days of chats when you connect. Only template messages sent from HubSpot count towards its limit.4
HubSpot’s own channel is part of HubSpot, so it has no Marketplace listing or rating of its own. Flowella’s rating is beside it.
HubSpot WhatsApp on the HubSpot Marketplace
HubSpot’s WhatsApp channel comes with Marketing Hub and Service Hub Professional and Enterprise, so there’s no app listing to rate. Checked on 25 October 2026.5
Exceptional engagement platform that transformed our student conversion with 160% increase in same-day applications and 90% WhatsApp response rates.

We’ve tried to make it so. Every fact about HubSpot’s WhatsApp channel links to HubSpot’s knowledge base, pricing pages or product catalogue, checked on 25 October 2026. HubSpot’s channel does more than Flowella in places, such as replies with media in the HubSpot inbox, consent keywords that update HubSpot’s subscription types, and other channels in the same inbox, and the table says so.
Not with HubSpot’s own channel. It needs Marketing Hub or Service Hub, Professional or Enterprise, and HubSpot’s catalogue lists no WhatsApp integration on Starter.
Flowella works on Starter and on Free: Flows built from your HubSpot forms, answers written back as form submissions, WhatsApp activity on the contact timeline and the Flowella inbox. Each completed Flow is a submission of your form, so the form automations HubSpot includes on every plan can run on it too. Flowella’s own workflow actions need Professional or Enterprise. With Flowella, Meta bills you directly, at Meta’s list rates, and Flowella never marks them up. Flowella’s own bill is your plan plus any billable messages over its allowance.
With HubSpot’s own channel, WhatsApp messages come with your subscription: Professional and Enterprise include 1,000 a month, and HubSpot sells 1,000 more for $70 a month. HubSpot says it doesn’t charge for free entry point conversations. Source 13, source 11, source 7, source 6, source 1.
Flowella starts at $79 a month on Starter, with 1,000 billable messages, on any HubSpot plan, plus Meta’s fees.
HubSpot’s channel comes with Professional. Service Hub Professional starts at $90 a seat a month billed annually ($100 monthly), plus a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee. Marketing Hub Professional starts at $800 a month billed annually ($890 monthly) with three seats, plus $3,000 onboarding. Prices are in US dollars, before tax, as published on 25 October 2026. Yes, on different numbers. HubSpot needs a number that isn’t connected to another WhatsApp integration, so each number sits with one of them at a time, and moving a number between them is a migration. You could keep HubSpot’s channel for support chats and put Flowella on a second number for forms. Source 1, source 25.
Flowella’s app, databases and file storage run in Microsoft Azure’s UK South region, in London. With HubSpot’s channel, HubSpot’s terms name Meta as a sub-processor, and if your HubSpot data is hosted outside the United States, Meta falls under the exclusions in HubSpot’s regional data hosting policy. With either, WhatsApp messages pass through Meta. Source 23, source 1.
Replying to WhatsApp in the same HubSpot inbox as email, chat and calls, with images, documents, meeting links and quotes; sending templates from records and workflows; and managing WhatsApp consent with HubSpot’s subscription types. If inbox replies are your job and you already have Professional, it’s built in. Source 1, source 2, source 3.
