Choosing a WhatsApp tool? Here is an honest comparison.
Most WhatsApp tools can send a broadcast, and many now let you keep your Business App number. The differences show up in what comes back: answers in your CRM’s fields, or messages someone has to read.

What to look for.
Six questions to ask any WhatsApp tool, Flowella included. Here’s how Flowella answers each one, with its source.
-
Does it turn your existing forms into native WhatsApp Flows, or only send messages?
Flowella
Pick a HubSpot form and Flowella builds the Flow from it, with its fields, validation and labels.1
-
Do answers come back as CRM fields, or as free text someone sorts by hand?
Flowella
Fields. A completed Flow arrives as a HubSpot form submission, with the answers on contact properties.2
-
Can it branch on what the customer actually answered?
-
Does it work on your HubSpot plan, or only on Professional and above?
-
Can you keep your WhatsApp Business App number, and what can you do once it’s connected?
Flowella
Yes, with coexistence. Then Flows, templates and the inbox run on that same number.5
-
Is the pricing clear, and are Meta’s message fees passed through at Meta’s rates?
Flowella
Meta bills you directly, at its list rates, and Flowella never marks them up. Flowella’s price is your plan plus any billable messages over its allowance.6

How Flowella connects to HubSpotAbout these comparisons
How do you keep these comparisons fair?
Every fact about another tool links to that tool’s own pages or its HubSpot Marketplace listing, with the date we checked it. Each page says where the other tool does more than Flowella, and claims we couldn’t confirm stay off the page. Flowella is our product, so read the sources and decide for yourself.
When were they last checked?
The first eleven pages were checked on 16 October 2026, and HubSpot’s own WhatsApp channel, HelloSend and TimelinesAI on 25 October 2026. Each page shows its date at the top. Prices change, so check each vendor’s site before you buy, and tell us if you spot something out of date.
Why isn’t there a calculator on every page?
The calculator compares one month’s bill when a tool sells plans with users and a price per message. Some tools price by contacts, credits or quote instead, so their pages give the prices in words.
Choosing a WhatsApp tool for HubSpot
Do I need HubSpot Professional to use WhatsApp?
For HubSpot’s own WhatsApp channel, yes: it needs Marketing Hub or Service Hub, Professional or Enterprise. Flowella works on every HubSpot plan, Free and Starter included, though its workflow actions need Professional or Enterprise. Other apps vary, and each comparison says what the tool needs.
What’s the difference between a WhatsApp Flow and a chat?
A chat collects free text that someone has to read and type into the CRM. A WhatsApp Flow is a form inside the chat, with fields and validation, so the answers arrive as structured data your workflows can act on. Most tools on these pages send messages and templates; few build Flows from your HubSpot forms.
Can I use two WhatsApp tools at once?
Yes, on different numbers. Each WhatsApp number sits with one provider at a time, and moving a number from one to another is a migration. Coexistence is different: it lets the WhatsApp Business App and one platform share a number.
Which tool is cheapest?
It depends on your team and how many templates you send. HubSpot’s own channel comes with Professional and includes 1,000 messages a month; Flowella starts at $79 a month on any HubSpot plan, plus Meta’s fees; other tools price by seat, contact or credit. Each comparison prices both tools for the same job, as published on the date it shows.
