  • Messages your customers send you never cost anything.

Estimate only, not a quote. It uses Meta’s published list rates for the WhatsApp Business Platform in GBP, effective 1 October 2026. Meta, not Flowella, charges these fees, and Meta’s invoice is final. What you pay depends on the messages actually delivered, the category Meta applies to each template when it is sent, each recipient’s country, your account’s currency and time zone, volume tiers across your whole business portfolio, free entry point windows, the 1,000 free service messages each number gets a month, and any taxes. Meta can change its rates on the first day of any quarter. Your Flowella plan is billed separately.

Questions about WhatsApp pricing.

Meta sets these fees and bills them to your WhatsApp Business account. Flowella’s own plans are on our pricing page.

See Flowella’s plans
How does Meta charge for WhatsApp messages?

Per delivered message. Meta puts each message a business sends into one category, marketing, utility, authentication or service, and charges by that category and by the country code of the person receiving it. Messages your customers send you are never charged.

Which messages are free?

Each business phone number gets 1,000 free service messages a month: the free-form replies you send within 24 hours of a customer’s last message. When someone messages you from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad and you reply within 24 hours, what you send them for the next 7 days is free too. Utility templates are charged even inside the 24-hour window.

Why are marketing messages to US numbers shown as free?

WhatsApp doesn’t deliver marketing templates to US phone numbers, and Meta doesn’t charge for messages it doesn’t deliver. Utility, authentication and service messages to US numbers are delivered and charged at Meta’s North America rates.

What are volume tiers?

Lower rates for utility and authentication messages once you send enough of them to one market in a calendar month, counted across every account in your business portfolio. Each discount applies only to the messages inside its band, so the first messages of the month stay at the list rate.

Which currency should I choose?

The currency of your WhatsApp Business account, which is set when the account is created. Meta publishes a separate rate card for each of its 16 billing currencies, so the calculator uses that card rather than converting from US dollars.

Is this what I pay Flowella?

No. Meta bills these fees directly to the payment method on your WhatsApp Business account. Your Flowella plan is billed separately, and our pricing page shows what it costs.

How current are the rates?

The calculator uses Meta’s published rate cards and shows the date the current card took effect. Meta changes its rates only on the first day of a quarter, and gives at least a month’s notice of new rates.

How can I lower my WhatsApp bill?

Send fewer, better messages. A WhatsApp Flow asks all your questions in one message instead of one at a time, and a carousel template puts up to ten offers in one marketing message. Our guide to the 2026 WhatsApp pricing changes shows both.
