Cookie policy

How flowella.io and go.flowella.io use cookies and similar technologies, and how to change your choices.
On this page
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others help us understand how the site is used or measure our advertising. Websites can also keep similar information in your browser’s local storage, and this policy covers that too.
This policy covers our websites, flowella.io and go.flowella.io. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data more generally.
2. Your choices
When you visit from the UK, the European Economic Area or the Isle of Man, a banner asks whether you accept analytics, advertising and functionality cookies. Until you accept, we use only the strictly necessary ones, and if you decline, a single cookie remembers that choice. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as declining.
You can change your choice at any time: open cookie settings, or use the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page.
Visitors from other countries don’t see the banner, and the cookies below are used. Wherever you are, you can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. The site still works, though forms and chat may not remember you.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
These keep the site secure and remember your cookie choice. They are always on.

7. Local storage and embedded content
Once you accept, Hotjar, Google, Meta, LinkedIn and OpenAI also keep small items in your browser’s local and session storage, such as an advertising identifier or a note of the page you came from. They are used for the same purposes as their cookies and are covered by the same choice.
Some pages show content from other services. Blog posts carry share buttons from Facebook, LinkedIn and X, and some include YouTube videos in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Our chat uses Google reCAPTCHA to keep out spam. These services may store information in your browser under their own policies.
8. Changes and questions
We update this policy when the cookies on our sites change, and change the date at the top of the page. If you have a question about cookies or your data, email privacy@flowella.io.
