WhatsApp Flows are coming to WhatsApp Web and Desktop

(and yes, that means Flowella on desktop too)

If you have ever started a WhatsApp conversation on your phone and thought, “I will finish this when I am back at my desk”, good news: your keyboard is about to get involved.

Meta’s WhatsApp Flows changelog confirms that Flows will be supported on WhatsApp Web companions, meaning users can open, complete, and view Flow responses while using WhatsApp on the web. The rollout begins in early December 2025 and is enabled automatically, with no action required.

For Flowella customers, this is a big deal: it expands where your Flowella forms can be completed, making it easier for people to fill in details when they are already at a computer.

What changed

According to the WhatsApp Flows changelog (November 11th, 2025 release notes), WhatsApp will begin supporting Flows on WhatsApp Web companions in early December 2025. Users will be able to:

  • Open Flows

  • Complete Flows

  • View Flow responses

No extra configuration is required. The feature is enabled automatically as the rollout reaches users.

What this means for Flowella

Flowella lets you run forms, surveys, onboarding, and data capture inside WhatsApp using WhatsApp Flows, then syncs the structured responses where you need them.

With Flows supported on WhatsApp Web companions, people can complete Flowella experiences on:

  • WhatsApp Web in the browser

  • WhatsApp Desktop, when using WhatsApp on a computer

In other words: the same Flowella journey, now easier to complete from a desk, with a proper keyboard, a bigger screen, and fewer “I will do it later” moments.

Many business conversations happen during the working day, on a laptop. Until now, that could mean a bit of friction when a user hit a form step on WhatsApp.

In most cases, no. This is a WhatsApp client capability rollout, rather than a Flowella change. Your Flows stay the same; more people can complete them on the device they are already using.

  • Make sure your team are on the latest version of WhatsApp Web or WhatsApp Desktop when testing

  • If you do not see it immediately, do not panic; rollouts are often phased
